Silk Screening - SCAD

When we stay in South Carolina as a family, preparing for the building of our house, we often cross Oglethorpe Bridge into Savannah, Georgia. Similar to Bluffton Town that I mentioned in my posting about the Cherokee Rose, history, and a picturesque look to the town makes Savannah a hotspot for tourists, but also for art students. The town is home to the Savannah College of Art and Design, a world-renowned post-secondary school for artists. The town is young and exciting, as it is highly influenced by the students running around creating. Savannah is one of my favourite places to visit. When I was there during March Break, I took the photograph I used for my silk screening assignment. It is the iconic picture of Savannah and the College, as well as the famous ice-cream shop, Leopold's.
